My patient would like to use a Flush, but is having problems getting a good seal against the voice prosthesis. Is there anything we can try?

You could try to bend the shaft of the Flush, to get easier access to the voice prosthesis. Also, the patient could use the Flush with air instead of water. Even with air, a good cleaning effect is obtained. Once the patient is more experienced using the Flush and a good seal is achieved, water can be used again.

How can I determine the size for a LaryButton?

It is best to use the LaryButton Sizer Kit. First measure the diameter of the stoma with a ruler and then select the LaryButton closest to this size. You can use the LaryButtons in the kit to find the best fitting LaryButton. The LaryButtons in the Kit can be resterilized.
