Above Cuff Vocalization
Above cuff vocalization (ACV) helps to improve communication for patients with a tracheostomy tube and mechanical ventilation. This webpage has multiple resources for providers who are using or are interested in using ACV with their patients. ACV set-up with use of a subglottic tracheostomy tube is reviewed, and ACV evidence and benefits are described.
