Our Dedicated Support Teams
Insurance
The Insurance Team manages all verification and authorization inquiries and requests. They work directly with the different insurance providers to:
- Confirm coverage
- Obtain the required approvals
- Explore all available options to support patient success
The expertise of the Insurance Team at Atos helps remove the guesswork and ensures every request receives thorough and timely attention.
Case Management
When insurance coverage is challenging or access is denied, the Case Management Team steps in to:
- Navigate barriers in coverage
- Identify alternative pathways for access with complex cases
- Investigate appeal options
- Coordinate with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
- Advocate for equitable access to essential supplies
What does this mean for you?
In addition to working with you and your insurance company directly, our Insurance and Case Management teams are always working hard to get in-network coverage with more insurance companies. Here is one example of how Atos teams worked with UAB Department of Otolaryngology and Alabama Medicaid to improve coverage.

Understanding Your Insurance
Navigating insurance coverage can feel overwhelming, but we’re here to help make the process easier. At Atos Medical, our goal is to ensure you have the information and support you need to access the products essential to your care.
Contracted Plans
We partner with many insurance plans nationwide. If your insurance plan is contracted with Atos Medical, this often means:
- Lower out‑of‑pocket costs
- Streamlined authorizations
- Faster access to supplies
Non-Contracted Plans
If your insurance plan is not contracted, our teams will still be able to help you:
- Verify your benefits
- Attempt to obtain prior authorizations for needed supplies
- Explore every available option to support your access to products
What we need from you:
In order for us to properly help you and determine your insurance coverage, please provide your:
- Images of your current insurance card (both front and back)
- Completed Atos Medical Prescription form from your healthcare provider
- Completed Patient Services Form
